"Beyond the Notes" Sponsorship Concert hosted by Reggie Sullivan

Join the SC Jazz Foundation in Columbia, SC for "Beyond The Notes", their first sponsorship event hosted by Reggie Sullivan. This fundraiser and goods donation drive will be held in the City Market Place - Vista Venue (705 Gervais Street) in Columbia, South Carolina.

Entertainment will be provided by the Jmichael Peeples Movement and the Reggie Sullivan Jazz and Rock Band, with a VIP only performance by Amos Hoffman.

TICKET INFORMATION

VIP - $50 - VIP Tickets include early admittance at 5:00 p.m. to enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine provided by sponsors Pasta Fresca, Southern Way, and Grady's Juicy Q. Seating is also provided for the first 50 VIP ticket holders. Amos Hoffman, renowned guitarist and oud player, will perform an exclusive concert for VIP members before the doors open at 5:30 p.m.

General Admission - $25 - Concert Admission Only - Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

There is also plenty of standing room to mingle while you enjoy the musical entertainment and company of other jazz enthusiasts.

*GOODS DONATION DRIVE*

"Beyond the Notes" is also a donation drive to collect goods and provide financial assistance to homeless and women's shelters in the Columbia community.

Goods Needed:

  • Unused hygiene products

  • New or gently used blankets, pillows, jackets, ponchos, hand-warmers, gloves, hats, and socks

***A goods donation lowers the General Admission ticket price to only $20.

***Anyone who brings donated goods will be entered into a drawing to win prizes!***

Your host for the evening, Reggie Sullivan, received his Jazz Studies degree from the University of South Carolina in 2006, and has since become one of the hardest working musicians in Columbia. He's performed with music legends such as Olivia Newton-John, Wycliffe Gordon, Herlin Riley, Chris Potter, and Joe Sample & the Jazz Crusaders. Reggie has also appeared on local ETV broadcasts and national television series, most recently as a band member for Wynonna Judd. He tours internationally with well-recognized jazz legends, and is often working worldwide as a freelance bassist or regionally with the Reggie Sullivan Band. Reggie will ensure this night is one to remember by providing exceptional entertainment and raising support for 2 worthy causes.

All donations and promised annual support fund SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble performances, as well as jazz education and advocacy throughout South Carolina.

Monetary donations may be made at the event or through the "Support" tab. 

The SC Jazz Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
