The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble will play a concert of some of the Beatles' greatest hits.

The Beatles have six Diamond albums, as well as 20 Multi-Platinum albums, 16 Platinum albums and six Gold albums in the US. They are commonly regarded as the foremost and most influential band in popular music history.

Jazz and popular music have always been in a relationship and the blending of genres is a way of life for most musicians. “SC Jazz Plays the Beatles” feels like a great idea.

The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble, is comprised of eighteen of the finest jazz musicians, soloists, and bandleaders from across the Carolinas and its mission is to present jazz concerts at the highest artistic level. With this many amazing musicians, the musical possibilities are almost unlimited.
